Purpose

————————————————————

My highest purpose as an artist is to connect to deeply personal truths and advocate for universal ones. Knowing that this cannot be done alone and that a rising tide lifts all boats, I have often positioned myself as a key player in collaborative events, shows and efforts to bring the talents of many artists to bear at pivotal times. I work primarily with figurative subject matter, in oils and stained glass. Going forward with my own work and in group collaboration, I will continue to advocate for, protect, and empower women, people of color and the LGBTQ+ community.
